RULES FOR DOG TROT:
Your dog should have current rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccines.
By law, all dogs must be licensed.
All dogs must be leashed at all times and compete on a leash no longer than 4 feet long.
Puppies under 6 mos. not allowed.
Female dogs in heat not allowed.
No aggressive dogs; bring your dog only if he/she is well socialized.
At the discretion of the event director, dogs whose behavior is unruly or might prove hazardous to other participants, dogs, or spectators may be requested to leave.
Clean up after your dog (bags provided).
No costumes on dogs.
5K race for humans only.
Due to heat, dogs must not run in the .5 mi.
All participants must sign a liability waiver.
